a funny story in my life.

Umm.....when i was six,  One day my mother bought two chicks, in korea it called byung-ah-ri, for me to breed those.
I was so happy. Because they were so so so cute.
And i asked to my mother did you named of those?
my mother said "Yes, i did ! "
i said " What are chicks name?"
my mother said "Coke and Sprite!"
Now i can think why she named coke and sprite, because she tried to make those name for pair.
But in that time, i was so sad. because i wanted to more prettier name for chicks, like mini and mickey, cute cartoon characters in W.Disney.
However, as the time goes by, and i thought that memory, my mother`s sense of  naming always give me smile.

Serendipity.

I like the word 'serendipity'. Do you know what?
Serendipity means the force of coincidence. More specific, it spells the ability that one find something precious among common things.
Actually, Serendipity makes big histories. There is one example.
Long time ago, One boy was floundering in the river. The boy was picked up by passing poor farmer.
The boy`s family was noble, and rich. So, the boy`s father wanter to offer a big reward to the farmer for his son.
But the farmer refused that he receive big rewards. For this reason, the boy`s father suggested  he will be sure to give the farmer`s  child education equally with his son.
As time goes by, The farmer`s son graduated College of Medicine and became a medical scientist.
He developed penicillin. He is Fleming. And the noble`s son is Churchill who became a premier of England.
One day, Churchill got acute pneumonia. But he survived; because, there was penicillin.
How amazing?
If Churchill didn`t fall into a river, if Fleming Couldn`t develop the medicine?
I think 'If ' is more amazing word than i thought.

l prefer city to the country

i had lived in Ulsan, one of a city in Korea, in my school age.
Ulsan is a big city similar to Pittsburg in U.S
The city have a lot of factories and ships.
It could think that there isn`t like rural area, but there are a lot of factors of rural at places such as farms and affectionate people and so on.
Not only there are factors of rural but also there are benefits of city life.
Like this, i think i can feel air of the country in a city. But, In real rural area, i can feel the air but i can`t enjoy benefits of city like art gallery and theater and so on.
So i prefer city to the country because cities have rural`s face too.

The worst memory in school age.

I have a terrible experience that my 2th grade teacher ,in elementary school , scolded to me. One day, my best friend at that time fight with a boy in my class. Because the boy picked on her again and again. So she finally couldn't stand that, and fight with him. At that time, my class teacher came into the class, and saw the scene that they fought. So teacher scolded the children and gave both students punishment . But, I saw all of the situation between them. Moreover i knew that she got an undeserved scolding. So i told teacher about the truth. But teacher ignored my testimony. Besides she asked me cynically that are you a spokesperson for her~? As soon as i heard her mention, I was embarrassed. The teacher just mocking me. Didn't hear anything. So that memory is the worst for me.

Mr.Mun in most great teacher in my school age

Mr.mun who was my teacher when i was 18 years old is the most memorable teacher in my school age.
He was my class teacher and a teacher of sociology.
When i met him first, he looks like too strick.
So i didn`t like him first. but i respected hime as time goes on.
He always treated students impartially;accordingly, he was repected by all of my class mates.
So we  studied harder than before. because we didn`t want to let him down.
Consequently my class student got good score in exam ,and my class placed first in class`s grade average.
those days, i was pleased to go to school.
i regards myself as lucky persom. because i have a teacher who deserves repect.

Speacial place for me.

My room is very speacial for me.
Because my room is only for me.
Of course it's not very clear. Sometimes it's very dirty. But my room is the most comfortable for me and there is my whole history.
Also, it is good to make my style room.
All of my thing is in there. It's like a big trunk.
But now i am in seoul. My homeground is ulsan.
So it's difficult to see my room now.
Then when i go to my ulsan house i feel good to be in there.

free writing

this week, my professor gregorythompsom  gave our a free theme homework.
so i start to say about The great books.
i like The great book, such as Ilias , Odyssey, Also sprach Zarathustra and so on.
because that great book change a ordinary people to extraordinary people.
how ~? The great books force to us think deeply.
the great book`s authors are the genius. therefore their book is same as the genius  thinking, and read  that book is same as to talk with them.
i`m not good at read that book fluently. and it is so hard time to realized every meaning.
nevertheless when i realize some meaning of the book. it feel like grown up a little bit.
i firmly believe that reading The great book is the most right education.
and  Karl Witte who lived in Germany long times ago thought same with me.
and he educated his sons like that way. and his sons grown up geniuses.
i want to breed my children that way like Karl Witte later.

a special guy Hong Jung Wook!

do you know about hong jung wook?
i`m really in to him.
he is very special. because he seems to gentleman.
he works in the National Assembly. why? because he is polician.
the chance that i know him is his book
in his college age, he studied in University of Havard.
this time, he wrote his autobiography named [act.7, scene 7], if you have a time, reading this book once is good to you i think.
i was very impressed with his book.
his ways of  thinking is  clearly and respectful.
so i read his book 10times again and he is one of the spritual guide to me.
besides he has very handsome face. his face is like an actor.
so many middle aged women vote for him. because he is a handsome and gentle guy.
i want to meet him once in a life.

What is my precious thing in my life ?

I have good memory that i was rated as a student who is in the 3% at the korea college entrance exam like american's SAT. And then The Education Committee gave me a report card of korea college entrance exam. The report is written the fact i'm in 3% among high school student. For other people, the report card is just a paper. That's it. But for me, the paper is very precious thing. Because that always gives me energy, and shows my potential and ability i think. So i take out my report card as often as i have a difficult problem. I am happy to have such a valuable thing.

i`m 21 years old
i was born in south area(kyungsangnamdo),Ulsan.
now i live in school dormitory.
my major is public administration. but i`m not interested in my major but really interested in psychology

These days i enjoy playing squash game.
